We will begin the Apprentice Study by exploring The Good and Beautiful God, a book by James Bryan Smith. Drawing on what Jesus revealed about God, Apprentice examines our ideas about God. As our understanding of God is strengthened and healed, we more naturally live the life Jesus described in his Sermon on the Mount. Participants should be prepared for a high level of commitment, including: a desire to grow spiritually, regular attendance, weekly readings and soul-training exercises, and readiness to participate in the small-group time.  These higher expectations will, by God’s grace, lead to greater transformation.
