Community Groups
Community Groups - Where a House Becomes a Home.
It's amazing and generally fun to think about the massive load of quirks and intricacies that make up each of our lives. If we're to be honest - it's rare that we would divulge these details in any sort of public setting. We save our most vunerable moments for the safest of friendships; that is, if we share them at all. Our prayer here at tpcc is that the groups that meet in our church are intentionally and patiently creating an atmosphere of authentic friendship and real connection. From fun fellowship to fervent discipleship - we have groups that meet throughout the week with the aim of learning more about God and each other as the Holy Spirit leads.
SUNDAY
Leadership takes place in all aspects of life - in our families, on our jobs, in our church. The privilege and sanctity of leading others is extremely important. In many regards, leadership and discipleship are one and the same. In this bi-weekly gathering, Pastor John will facilitate a time of interactive instruction for those currently serving as leaders, for anyone desiring to serve as a leader at TPCC in the future, and for everyone who simply desires to grow in their walk with the Lord.

honest.earnest.worship.community. Psalm 139:1-4 and John 21:17 are just a couple places in the Word where we are reminded God knows it all. In light of that Truth – we aim for honest relationships that earnestly respond to His love. Romans 12 is a great snapshot of what we are after as a family. We pray that God will continually work in us the unity and purpose found in passages like Ephesians 5:1-2, Philippians 2:1-5, and the poetic paraphrase of Ephesians 4:14b, "We take our lead from Chirst, who is the source of everything we do. He keeps us in step with each other. His very breath and blood flow through us, nourishing us so that we will grow up healthy in God, robust in love."

Childcare: Small Children WelcomeWe will begin the Apprentice Study by exploring The Good and Beautiful God, a book by James Bryan Smith. Drawing on what Jesus revealed about God, Apprentice examines our ideas about God. As our understanding of God is strengthened and healed, we more naturally live the life Jesus described in his Sermon on the Mount. Participants should be prepared for a high level of commitment, including: a desire to grow spiritually, regular attendance, weekly readings and soul-training exercises, and readiness to participate in the small-group time. These higher expectations will, by God’s grace, lead to greater transformation. For more info, visit www.apprenticeofjesus.org .

Most Christians have been taught God’s principals for handling 10% of their income, the area of giving. Although this is crucial, most do not understand the Lord’s perspective on handling the other 90%. The Crown Biblical Financial Study will teach you what scripture says about managing all of your possessions and provide practical guidance in spending, saving, earning money, investing, getting out of debt, giving and teaching children. This ten-week study will transform your life and finances as you learn what the God of the universe says about handling money. And the study is for everyone-single or married, young or old, whether you earn a lot or a little.

Our focus this term is a video study produced by Focus on the Family, taught by Dr. Del Tackett. People often say things like, "There is no absolute truth!" and "All truth is relative." WHAT IS THE TRUTH? Jesus said "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life..." (John 14:6). This study is the starting point for looking at life from a Biblical perspective, discussing the relevance and importance of living the Christian worldview in daily life.
